Copyright and Licensing Policy

Technical platform operator: ALTN LLP (Republic of Kazakhstan), providing the technical operation of the website and publishing of the journal on behalf of AI Academic Ltd. under a concluded service agreement.
In this Policy, the term "Publisher" means AI Academic Ltd.
1. Copyright
1.1. All authors publishing articles in the AI and Science Academic Journal retain the copyright to their materials.
1.2. The author grants the journal a non-exclusive right to publish, distribute and store the article in electronic and print formats, and to index it in international scholarly databases.
1.3. Depending on the access model chosen, copyright may be partially or fully assigned to the Publisher.
2. Access Model and Licensing
Option A. Open Access
2.1. The journal follows an open access policy.
2.2. All published articles are freely and unconditionally available for reading, copying, distribution and adaptation, provided that authorship is duly credited.
2.3. All materials are published under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International license (CC BY 4.0).
2.4. This means that users may:
— copy and distribute materials in any format;
— adapt, modify and use articles for commercial and non-commercial purposes;
— provided that a mandatory reference to the original source and the authors is included.

Option B. Closed Access (traditional model)
2.5. The journal reserves the right to use a restricted access model.
2.6. In this case, all rights to the published materials belong to the Publisher (AI Academic Ltd.) or to the journal, unless stated otherwise.
2.7. Copying, distribution or use of materials is permitted only with the written consent of the editorial office or the rights holder.
2.8. Authors may use their own works for personal and academic purposes, provided that the original source is credited.

3. Authors' Rights
Authors retain the following rights:
— to post the published article on personal websites, in institutional repositories and academic networks (in accordance with the access model);
— to use the materials in teaching, presentations, dissertations and other non-commercial purposes;
— to reuse their own data, illustrations and research results;
— to enter into separate agreements for non-exclusive distribution (for example, in collections or monographs), provided that the original publication in the journal is credited.
4. Readers' Rights
Readers have the right to:
— access published articles (depending on the journal's model — open or restricted access);
— cite materials in accordance with academic ethics;
— use articles within the terms of the applicable license (CC BY 4.0 or "All rights reserved").
